Taylor Swift, The Band Perry Win Big at CMA’s

The 45th Annual CMA Awards was filled with incredible performances and moments including a big night for Taylor Swift and The Band Perry.

For the second time Taylor has been voted CMA Entertainer of the Year, she previously won the award back in 2009 and again on Wednesday night’s ceremony.  The 21-year-old star also made it a point to thank the many artists that have joined her on stage during her Speak Now tour, naming each one from notes scrawled on her arm.  She also thanked her fans for filling the stadiums and coming out to see her shows on her Speak Now tour.  Taylor beat out Jason Aidean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban for the coveted award.  The Band Perry scooped up three awards during the night including New Artist of the Year, and both Song and Single of the year for their single, “If I Die Young”.  Other big winners of the night included Blake Shelton, who scored Male Vocalist of the Year and his wife Miranda Lambert who won Female Vocalist of the Year.  Sugarland won for the fifth time the Vocal Duo award and Lady Antebellum earned Vocal Group of the Year for the third consecutive time.

Swift is now the second woman to win entertainer of the year twice at the CMAs.  What do you think of Taylor Swift winning Entertainer of the Year?
